We’re Rob and Leanna Hatch, and from our home on Vancouver Island, we founded Crave Stevia to answer that question. Back in 2000, the world of sweeteners was a choice between unhealthy sugar and artificial substitutes that tasted… well, artificial. We believed a better option wasn't just possible; it was necessary.

Our journey was driven by a shared passion. With Leanna's 30+ years in the natural health industry and Rob's decades in business management, we combined our experience to tackle the problem head-on. We were determined to create a truly clean, zero-calorie sweetener that tasted amazing.

Our answer was stevia.

This incredible plant offered everything we were searching for: a natural source of sweetness, up to 300 times more potent than sugar, that our bodies could easily process. We dedicated ourselves to sourcing the highest-quality extract and perfecting a formula that delivered pure flavour without any bitterness.

In 2002, Crave Stevia was launched with a clear mission: to provide a delicious, natural, and truly healthy way for people to reduce their sugar intake without sacrificing the sweet moments in life.
